Camper Cabins

Camper cabins are located on the edge of a beautiful meadow set among crepe myrtle, walnut, and oak trees. At the end of an adventurous and enriching day at Camp CHOP, your child will come back to our camper cabins.

Camper cabins are used to clean up, share their favorite experiences with their bunkmates, and get some good old-fashioned shuteye in preparation for the next action-packed day. At Camp CHOP, your child’s needs are an essential aspect of our camper cabins.

Each detail of your camper’s cabin has been carefully thought out by our vast experience of doing this for 40 plus years. We’ve spared no effort in making our cabins as cozy as possible.

WHAT EACH CABIN IS EQUIPPED WITH

Camp CHOP cabins have five to eight bunk beds with mattresses. Campers are required to bring linens from home for their bed.

Every cabin has multiple showers. Also, there are several private restrooms and changing stations. Each cabin contains plenty of sinks so campers can take care of all their hygienic needs.

SUPERVISION INSIDE THE CABINS

All camper cabins have an assigned counselor who stays with all the campers each night. The counselor is there to oversee cabin activities and get the campers settled in for the night.

Your camper will be sleeping with children that are in the same age group. Camper cabins house 6-10 campers per cabin room.

Ages Groupings: 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17

  • Roommates are grouped by AGE, NOT GRADE in school. This applies to all campers, including those who have skipped grades. The age cutoff date is August 31st.
  • Campers will NOT move up to the next age group.
  • We only grant reciprocal requests. Please make arrangements with friends at least one month prior to camp. Requests can be made by logging into your camper account and clicking the “Forms & Documents” link.
